OBITUARY

JOHN CHARLES LOTT
JOHN CHARLES LOTT was born March 6, 1940 in Dallas, Texas. He passed away March 15, 2003 at the age of 63. He was a wonderful person and a godly man. His loving and generous spirit made him loved by all who knew him. His sense of humor was there even in the battle he fought for so long and hard with cancer. John owned and operated Art Craft Awnings. He also honorably served in the U.S. Coast Guard. He was a loving husband to his wife of 25 years Lacreta, and devoted to daughter Johnna Lott, step-children Patty Mitchell Calverley, Amy Owens, Kenny Mitchell, "adopted" daughter Destiny Young, and nine grandchildren. He is also survived by his mother Ruth Lott, sisters Peggy Forester, Millie Shaddox, brother Marshall and wife Linda Lott and many nieces and nephews. For his family and many friends John leaves behind an empty space that no one else can fill and he will be missed so very much and never ever forgotton. A service will be held at Rhoton Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, March 19 at 1:00 PM with the Rev. Don Childress officiating. Interment to follow at Furneaux Cemetery.
