OBITUARY
Mrs. Lott Died Friday Mrs. Minnie Lott, wife
of W. R. Lott, died at Baylor hospital in Dallas Friday, May 13, 1932, after a
very short sickness. Spinal meningitis was the cause of death and she was in the
hospital but a couple of days before death overtook her. Funeral services
were held in the Baptist church in Hebron, Saturday afternoon, May 14, at 3
o'clock, Rev. Morgan and Rev. Barnette conducting the services. Interment was in
Cemetery Hill. Pall bearers
were nephews of the deceased: T. L. Caruthers, Walter Follis Lott, Lineal Lott,
Delbert Holley, Lois Earl Brooks and Eldridge Brooks.
Minnie Caruthers was born in Tennessee May 4, 1882, and was brot to Texas
when about two years of age by her parents, who moved here to make their home.
She was 50 years and nine days of age at time of death. She leaves to mourn her
passing a loving husband; two sons, Clifford and Willford; two daughters, Mrs.
Effie Childress of Dallas and Miss Rena at home. Two daughters died in infancy.
There are three grandchildren; Billy, Della Faye and Ray.
Two brothers, Claude and George Caruthers and three sisters, Miss Earl
Caruthers, Mrs. Wallace Cowan and Mrs. Paul Brooks also survive.
