Lowry, Charles Ray Lowry, Charles Ray, 79. Born May 19, 1933 in Hill County, Texas was called home July 11, 2012.Devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and wonderful, spiritual example. Survived by wife, Brenda; her children and grandchildren; son, Tim and his wife, Penny; son, Paul and his wife, Penny; grandchildren: Dustin, Cody, Ginny, Brody and Abby; great grandchildren: Ellis James and Maya Lynn; sister-in-law, Martha Lowry and numerous loving relatives and friends. Preceded in death by wife of 46 years, Carolyn Lowry; son, Keith Lowry; granddaughter, Cameron Lowry; brother, Alvin "Bud" and sisters Catherine "Tot" and Alyne "Tootsie". He dedicated his life to serving his Savior in all things: teaching, counseling, mentoring and discipling. He was a faithful servant to the end. He was known by many names: Charles, Ray, Dad, Granddaddy, Poppy Charles, Uncle Ray and Pops; but the title he loved the most was Child of God. The Legacy you left is great and the Victory is yours! Services 2 pm Friday at the Webb Chapel Church of Christ, Farmers Branch with interment in Hilltop Memorial Park.

Charles was born on May 19, 1933 and passed away on Wednesday, July 11, 2012.

Charles was a resident of Carrollton, Texas at the time of his passing.

He is survived by his wife Brenda.
