OBITUARY
Alesia Ruth Marcom
MARCOM, ALESIA RUTH Alesia Ruth Marcom, 88, went to be with the Lord on Thursday
morning after a brief illness. Mrs. Marcom was born on September 13, 1919 in
Sachse, TX to the late Harvey and Verdie Tracy. Ruth was a cherished family
member and friend that will be greatly missed. She had a strong faith and
devotion through The First Baptist Church in Farmers Branch where she attended
services since her youth. Many of her days were spent tending to her flowers and
yard where she enjoyed the activities and sunshine. Her other passion was long
road trips with her family where she accumulated many treasured souvenirs. Ruth
Marcom was survived by her son, Norman Marcom; sister, Pauline Chapman;
grandsons: Brent Marcom; Tommy and wife Melinda Marcom. Services will be held by
Rev. Sam Underwood at the First Baptist Church in Farmers Branch, TX on Monday
June 2, 2008 at 10:00 AM. Visitation will be at Rhoton Funeral Home on Sunday
June 1st from 6-8 PM. In keeping with Ruth's love of God and faith, she
requested donations be made to the First Baptist Church in Farmers Branch.
