OBITUARY

Tod Marsh, very prominent and highly respected farmer residing east of Farmers Branch, died suddenly while out about his barn early Thursday morning. Mr. Marsh has been troubled by some with heart disease, we are told, and an attack may have been responsible for his sudden demise. Funeral arrangements had not been made when this was prepared for print, but the funeral will most likely be held Friday (today) at Farmers Branch. Mr. Marsh was a member of an early pioneer family, and was a brother of Tom Marsh who resides south of Midway.

Hollis W. Marsh Dies At Country Residence

Hollis W. Marsh, 63, native and life-long resident of Dallas County, died Thursday at his home near Farmers Branch, Dallas County. He is survived by his wife; a daughter, Kathleen; two sons, Fred and Hollis; his step-mother, Mrs. Fannie Marsh; two brothers, C. D. Marsh, Atlanta, Ga., and W. A. Marsh, Dallas; and three sisters, Mrs. Laura Kennedy, Addison, Dallas County; Miss Susie Marsh and Mrs. Bess Longmire, Dallas. Services will held Friday at 4 p.m. at the residence. Burial will be in the Marsh  Cemetery
