John D. Marsh

Rosary for John David Marsh of Houston, formerly of Dallas, Tidewell Oil Co. geologist, will be recited at 8 p.m. Monday in the Crane Funeral Chapel. Requiem Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in Sacred Heart Cathedral. Burial in Marsh Cemetery.
Marsh was the great-grandson of Harrison C. Marsh of Dallas, for whom Marsh Lane and Marsh Cemetery were named.
He attended St. Joseph's Academy here and St. John's Seminary in San Antonio and was graduated form the University of Texas in 1949.
He is survived by a daughter, Miss Susan [Maureen] Marsh of Houston.
