MCALESTER Graveside service for Denise Ann Marshall, 56, of
McAlester, will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 19, 2015, at
Frederick Memorial Cemetery with Russell Daniel, brother,
officiating.
Mrs. Marshall passed away at McAlester Regional Hospital on
Monday, Sept. 14, 2015.
Burial will be under direction of Orr Gray Gish Funeral Home, of
Frederick.
She was born June 5, 1959, in Altus, to Arvel Lee and Mary Ellen
Fleming Daniel. She grew up in various places due to her
father's military service. She even spent time in Panama for
about eight years. She graduated from R L Turner High School,
Carrollton, Texas, with the Class of 1978. She was united in
marriage to James Douglas Marshall on June 21, 1980, at First
Christian Church in Carrollton. They lived in Lewisville, Texas,
Chicago, Oklahoma City, and McAlester. She worked as a sales
associate for Walmart. She was a member of First Christian
Church.
She is survived by her husband, James Marshall, of McAlester;
two sons: James Richard Marshall and wife Danielle, of North
Carolina; and Jonathon Randall Marshall, of Norfolk, Va.; three
daughters: Christine Michelle Ballard and husband Brent, of
Houston; Susan Renee Benefield and husband Jeff, of McAlester;
and Amy Marie Berry and husband Dominique, also of McAlester; a
brother, Russell Daniel and wife Nancy, of Little Elm, Texas; a
sister, Katherine Myers and husband Gary, of Altus; 10
grandchildren: Lily, James Jr., Ryan, Matthew, Rachel, Robert,
James, Natalie, Crystal and Conrad; and two granddaughters on
the way. |
