OBITUARY

FARMERS BRANCH MAN WHO DIED YESTERDAY

John B. May
John B. May of Farmers Branch died at an early hour yesterday morning at the residence of his daughter, Mrs. E. W. Asbury, 4021 Holland avenue, aged 70 years. He is survived by two sons, L. B. and Edward May, Farmers Branch; five daughters, Mrs. M. W. Cox, and Mrs. J. S. Dennis, farmers Branch; Mrs. E. W. Asbury, Mrs. C. W. Smith and Mrs. T. E. Padgitt, Dallas; one brother, D. W. May, Vernon; four sisters, Mrs. T. A. Scurlock; Vernon; Mrs. Ben Jones, Buffalo Gap; Mrs. J. B. Slaughter, Post, and Miss Lula May, Dallas.
Mr. May was born in Dallas County and was engaged in the mercantile business at Farmers Branch for many years. Funeral services will be held at the Methodist church at farmers Branch at 10:30 o'clock this morning, leaving residence, 4021 Holland avenue, at 9:30, the Rev. Mr. Fuller and the Rev. C. W. Dennis conducting the service. The Farmers Branch Lodge of Odd Fellows will have charge at Farmers Branch Cemetery.

OBITUARY

"Farmers Branch" Mar. 9  Jno. B. May died at 12:30 Tuesday night at the home of his daughter, Mrs. E. W. Asbury, 4021 Holland street, Dallas. Funeral services swere held at the Methodist church in Farmers Branch Thursday at 10 a. m. and burial was made in the Farmers Branch Cemetery. An obituary will appear in next week's paper.
