OBITUARY

Juanita Mayberry
Juanita Mayberry of Carrollton, died Nov. 3, 1989. She was a 47-year resident of Carrollton and was actively involved in many community and civic organizations. In 1984, she was awarded the Outstanding Woman Award by Metrocrest Women's Charity Group. She helped organize Friends of the A. W. Perry Museum and served on the Museum Board from 1975 to 1988.
She was past president of Carrollton Morning Garden Club and was a charger member of the Chapter A.G. of P.E.O. Sisterhood and a member of the First Baptist Church of Carrollton.
Mrs. Mayberry is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Mitchell and Linda Mayberry of Carrollton; daughter, Jan Mayberry of Carrollton; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sister, Oleta Nichols of Cherokee Village, Ark.; mother, Mae Voertman of Thayer, Mo. and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Nov. 6 at the First Baptist Church of Carrollton with Dr. Wayne Allen officiating. Burial was at Hilltop Cemetery in Carrollton.
