J. T. MAYNARD ASSIGNED TO SHIP
J. T. Maynard, 1943 graduate of Carrollton high school, writes his
parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Maynard, that he has been assigned to a ship as
Watertender.
He took his basic training at St. Petersburg, Florida, in Maritime Training
School, and was recently sent to Charleston, South Carolina, for assignment to a
ship.
J. T. says he would be glad to hear from his friends.

OBITUARY
Maynard
J. T. Maynard, 53, 1219 Springwood in Lewisville, who worked in Irving, died
Monday.
Funeral will be at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Restland/Laurel Land Funeral Home in
Dallas with the Rev. C. A. McBride officiating. Burial will be in
Restland/Laurel Land Cemetery in Dallas.
He was a native of Coppell. He was the president of Northwest Masonry Inc.
which did brickwork in Irving and the surrounding area.
Survivors include his wife, Jean Evan Albrecht Maynard of Lewisville, sons,
Michael Jay Maynard and Curtis Duane Maynard; daughter, Carol Fugate; father,
William A. Maynard; brother, William Travis Maynard; and two grandchildren.
