Margaret Ann McCann

Margaret Ann McCann, 83, of Valley View, formerly of Lewisville, died Saturday, Jan. 1, 2005, at the Denton Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.

She was born in Farmers Branch to Lewis Wayne Leslie and Lena C. Fletcher Leslie.

She married Lloyd McCann on March 9, 1977, in Lewisville.

She was a retired bookkeeper.

She was a member of the Church of Christ.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors, with burial at Restland Memorial Park in Dallas.

The pallbearers will be Kyle and Eric Carter, Stephen and Jason White, Wallace Bossert and Kenneth Dodd.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 3 at DeBerry Funeral Directors.

She is survived by her husband, Lloyd McCann of Valley View; her second family, Penny and Gene Barnett of Vista, Calif., Kayla and Pat White of Whitesboro, Chris and Gene Bossert of Pilot Point, Sonny and Stephanie McCann of Florida, Rena and Kevin Vincent of Krum, a sister, Dorothy Smith of Dallas, 24 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, three nieces and five nephews.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, David C. Tinsley, two brothers, Fletcher and Bill Leslie, and one nephew, Steve Leslie.

DeBerry Funeral Directors is in charge of the arrangements.
