McCARTY, ELLEN EILEEN Born February 4, 1929 in Caddo, Stephens Co Tx and joined her beloved parents, Burl and Hattie Reynolds McCarty and her pet dogs March 29, 2004, after a 4 year struggle with breast cancer. She graduated from Sunset, studied Bus Adm at SMU, and was a graduate and model of John Robert Powers. Her work life began at Southland Life Ins, then secretary to former DA Henry Wade and Probate Judge Ted Robertson, retired from Sabine Corp/Pacific Ent. Eileen loved her pets, family, classical music, politics, the library, crime watch and sports. She exhibited unfathomed hope, determination, grace, courage, and dignity in her defiance of cancer. The wonderfuI skills and care given by her doctors, Sammons Cancer Center, Baylor Roberts Hospital is appreciated from the heart. Survived by her sister, Stevie Lee McCarty. Eileen chose cremation and no service.
