OBITUARY
Deborah
Frost McClung, 60, died Jan. 18, 2011, in Horseshoe Bay. She was born
March 2, 1950, in Dallas.
She graduated from Southern Methodist University with a liberal arts
degree. She then set out to play professional golf for four years. Prior
to entering law school at St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, she
restored her amateur golf status.
She had a great career at her legal practice and shared many great times
on the golf course with her golfing buddies. She also experienced
wonderful times at Walt Disney World with family and friends.
According to the family, "Deb has left us to go and play another course.
This course has no bogeys, only birdies and gimme putts. She left from
her parent’s home in time for an early tee time. Debbie won more than
her share of golf tournaments and legal conflicts, but lost her battle
with cancer before her time."
Survivors include parents Bill and Jackie McClung; sister Judy Tepper,
and Michelle Fairleigh and husband Thom; brother Mike McClung and wife
Kim; nieces and nephews Mike Tepper and wife Tesha, and their two
daughters Haleigh and Avery, Trey and Jennifer Tepper, Melanie, Amy, and
Kristina McClung, and Shelby and Dean Fairleigh.
A service is 2 p.m. Jan. 22 in the Church at Horseshoe Bay, 600 Hi Ridge
in Horseshoe Bay.
Her remains will be scattered on one of her favorite golf courses.
Arrangements handled by Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home, 1805 U.S. 281
North in Marble Falls, (830) 693-4373. |
