FRANKLIN McCORD
Franklin McCord is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John McCord of Grapevine.  Franklin graduated from Coppell grade school. He plans on being a county checker or surveyor next year.
Franklin wants to spend his adult life in Coppell.  His three best adult friends are Ramon Fuchs, James Harrison and Robert Brown.  Mr. Soape is the teacher that Franklin feels has done the most for him this year.
Agriculture and Farm Engineering have been his most enjoyable subjects. Franklin has enjoyed playing football more than any other sport and enjoyed watching base ball games.
Earline Smith is the senior that Franklin feels has done the most for Carrollton High this year. Mickey Rooney and Ginger Rogers are his favorite movie stars. Zane Grey is the author that he likes best.

OBITUARY

Eddie Franklin "Frank" McCord

GRAPEVINE - Eddie Franklin "Frank" McCord, a 62-year resident of Grapevine, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2011.
Graveside service: 10 a.m. Friday in Grapevine Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Lucas Funeral Home, 700 W. Wall St., Grapevine.
Frank was born Nov. 28, 1921, in Coppell to the late John and Essie McCord. He was a member of the IOOF of Grapevine for 55 years. Frank was in commercial and residential construction for 70 years.
Survivors: Wife of 68 years, Rubye McCord; son, Randy McCord and wife, Beverly; daughter, Darlene King and husband, Al; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and brother, William McCord.
