OBITUARY

 
Jeffrey "Jeff" Paul McCrary
Jeffrey "Jeff" Paul McCrary, 54, of Hawkins, Texas, passed away on Saturday, April 9, 2022, in Tyler after a courageous battle with multiple health issues and walked hand in hand with Jesus through Heaven's Gates. Celebration of Life services for Jeff will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, April 15, 2022, at the Holly Brook Baptist Church at Holly Lake Ranch. A private family interment will take place at Friendship Cemetery near Sherman, Texas. Jeff was born December 26, 1967 in Dallas, Texas to Jimmy Ralph McCrary and Betty Martha Griffin McCrary. He grew up in Cleveland, Texas and in the Dallas area where he graduated from R.L. Turner High School. Jeff enjoyed fishing, hunting, cooking and spending time with family and friends. He especially liked barbequing and grilling wild game. Jeff was witty, had a great sense of humor and could be sarcastic at times. He was a deep thinker and was always willing to engage in any conversation. He co-owned and operated with his father Caribbean Blue Pools. Jeff was a kid at heart and will forever be remembered for living each day to the fullest. He will never be forgotten by all the loving family and friends he leaves behind. Jeff is survived by his loving wife Jennifer McCrary; parents Jimmy and Betty McCrary; three children Maison Pedraza and husband Jesse, Logan Lum and husband Keenan and Griffin McCrary; mother-in-law Beverley Poltorak and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins as well as many other loving family and friends. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Clay and Ellen Griffin, paternal grandparents Earnest and Agnes McCrary and father-in-law Raymond Poltorak.
