OBITUARY
 
Ruby Brown McCraw

Ruby Brown McCraw, 91, passed away Saturday, November 3, 2012, surrounded by loving family. She was the sole survivor of seven brothers and sisters, born and raised on a farm near Sanger, TX. Ruby settled in the north Dallas area after marrying Joe W. McCraw in 1939. They were married for 66 years until Joe passed in 2005; they lived in Carrollton, Keller and Dallas.

Ruby worked for 30 years for Braniff Airlines until 1982. She always said that she was put here to work, so she loved gardening, cooking, crocheting and caring for family members.

Ruby leaves behind daughter Judy Cribbs and her husband, David; son, James McCraw and his wife Linda; daughter Beverly Draper; seven grandchildren, eighteen great, grandchildren and nineteen great, great grandchildren.

The family would like to thank loyal caregiver, Kim Little, who adopted the family on June 1, 2012.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 pm, Monday, November 5th at Rhoton Funeral Home where funeral services will be at 11:30 am Tuesday, November 6th, 2012, immediately followed by interment at Hilltop Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a gift to the American Cancer Society or the American Diabetes Association .
