MCCUTCHEON
JERRY WAYNE, age 53, a resident of Lake Dallas, Texas. Born on July 21, 1946 in Dallas, Texas to W. A. & Josephine McCutcheon. Passed away at his home on January 7, 2000. He began employment with the Farmers Branch Fire Department on April 16, 1969. On April 4, 1971, Jerry was promoted to fire equipment Operator. He has been assigned to Fire Engine 131 at Fire Station No. 1 on "B" shift for several years. Jerry worked for the Farmers Branch Fire Department for 29 years before his retirement. Jerry has served on the Lake Cities Fire Department for over 26yrs and served as their Fire Chief for 10 years. Jerry served as the Mayor of Lake Dallas from 1994 until 1998. Since 1980, he has been the coordinator for the Senior Citizen Christmas Dinner for the Lake Dallas area. He is survived by his wife, Sandy McCutcheon and two daughters, Cheri and Nathan Coleman and Cindy Fox. Four grandchildren, Amy James, Briana Fox and Tiffani & Jerry Coleman. His parents, W. A. and Josephine McCutcheon and brother, Joe McCutcheon and his best friend, John Wilson. Family visitation will be Saturday, January 8, 2000 from 5:00pm until 7:00pm at Dalton & Son Funeral Home in Lewisville. Graveside funeral services will be held on Sunday at 2:00pm at Swisher Cemetery in Lake Dallas., Texas with Rev Gene Welborn officiating. In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to the American Brain Tumor Association. Dalton & Son funeral Home in charge of local arrangements.
