OBITUARY
Graveside service for Kenneth “Dale” McElroy, 80, of Cleburne, will be
conducted at 3:00 P.M., Thursday, January 23, 2020 in Bono Cemetery.
Mr. McElroy was born July 17, 1939 in Cleburne, Texas to Orville Ware
and Nellie Mae (Kennon) McElroy. He graduated from Cleburne High School,
where he played football and basketball, in 1957. He then attended Texas
Tech University where he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree. He retired
from Carrollton High School after teaching history for many years. He
enjoyed gardening.
Survivors include his sister, Sue Boles of Benton, Arkansas; as well as
cousins and friends who will miss him. |
