OBITUARY
 Joyce
Marie McGaha
September 22, 1951 - April 28, 2021
Joyce Marie McGaha, of Gatesville passed away Wednesday, April 28, 2021
in Gatesville. A Celebration of Life Service will be at Eastwood Baptist
Church in Gatesville at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 8, 2021.
Joyce was born September 22, 1951 in Denton, Texas to Lora Mae and
Harold Jenkins. Joyce grew up the youngest of eight children. She
graduated from RL Turner High School in 1969. Joyce went on to study
cosmetology, prior to marrying the love of her life, Jerry McGaha, in
1969. She lived in several states and in Europe, due to her husband’s
military career. Joyce was a wonderful daughter, sister, aunt, wife,
mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Joyce loved to travel and
spend time with her family.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Jerry McGaha, of Gatesville;
son, Harold McGaha, and wife, Jeannette, of Plano; daughter, Racheal
Bridgewater, and husband, Billy, of Gatesville; 12 grandchildren; 15
great grandchildren; 1 great great granddaughter; sister, Norma
Anderson, of The Colony; sister, Linda Cummings, and husband, Jimmy, of
Ennis; Sister-in-Law, Belva Weatherly, of Dallas; and several nieces and
nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and five siblings.
