Jessilyn McMichael
DECEMBER 22, 1933 – APRIL 2, 2023

The family of Jessilyn McMichael will begin receiving friends at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 6, 2023 at Oak Ridge Baptist Church located at 500 E Oak Hill Drive, Spring, Texas 77386. The funeral service will begin at 4:00 p.m. Interment will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday, April 7, 2023 at Houston National Cemetery located at 10410 Veterans Memorial Dr, Houston, Texas 77038.

Jessilyn, known by some as "Lynn", passed away April 2, 2023 in Tyler, Texas. She was born December 22, 1933 in Dallas County, Texas to Frank Martin & Alfreda (Watts) Husung. She was 89 years of age.

Jessilyn graduated from Carrollton High School. She married James R. McMichael on December 10, 1955. She worked as an administrative assistant in the Home Construction Industry for J. C. Eagan. She loved the Lord and was a member of Oak Ridge Baptist Church in Spring.

Jessilyn enjoyed gardening, painting, singing, traveling, and genealogy.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband as well as two sisters, Betty McCandless and Joyce Hursh. She leaves behind to cherish her memory three sons, Larry McMichael, Randy McMichael, and Rob McMichael and wife Amy; former daughter-in-law, Sue McMichael; five grandchildren, Matthew and wife Dinah, Andrew, Sarah, Taylor, and Joel; three great-grandchildren; one brother, Frank Husung; sister, JoAnne Pollard; and numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, and dear friends.
