OBITUARY

R. N. McMillan Dies Sunday After Long Sickness
Robert Newton McMillan died at his home in Carrollton Sunday night, Jan. 31, 1937, after a sickness lasting for several months. He had been a resident of Carrollton for about fifteen years and had been engaged in the shoe repair stations for the major portion of that time. He was born at The Grove, Coryell county, Texas, Aug. 12. 1890, and was 46 years, 5 months and 19 days of age at death.
He was united in marriage with Nettie Mae Becker in 1922. He is survived by his wife and two daughters, Miss Faye and Miss Robbie; two brothers, John of Roanoke and C. B. of Dallas; two sisters; Mrs I. N. Alderman of Dallas, and Mrs. W. L. Havner of San Angelo, Texas.
Funeral services were held Monday evening at 4 o'clock at Rhoton Funeral Home, Rev. R. S. Kerr, pastor of the Methodist church, officiating. Interment in Farmers Branch cemetery. Pall bearers: Jake Gravley, Ott Moseley, E. W. Brake, L. K. Davis, D. P. Mayes, Oscar Smith.
