OBITUARY

MEADOWS
FANDELLA WEBB, died August 14, 2001 at home in Dallas. She was born July 21, 1908 to Ashley and Sue Warner Webb in Carrollton, Texas. Her parents and grandparents were Carrollton pioneers. She graduated from Carrollton High School in 1928 and attended Draughn Business School before working for the Dallas Public Library for over 30 years. She was predeceased by her husband William Chester Meadows and her brother Thomas Warner Webb. She is survived by her stepson Roland Dykes; grandson Jim Dykes; great grandsons Travis and Sean Dykes; three sisters, Estelle Howell, Willine Harroff, and Marian Webb; brother Johnny Meadows; nephew Tom Webb, Jr; and two nieces Carol Webb Moore and Betty Webb Hall. Graveside services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, August 16th at Hillcrest Memorial Park, Rev. Bill Smith officiating. Memorials may be made to Friends of the Dallas Public Library, 1515 Young St, Dallas, Texas 75201, or The Masonic Home and School of Texas, 3600 Wichita St., P.O.
