OBITUARY

Tanya Yvette Moore
April 22, 2020

Albuquerque, New Mexico – Tanya Yvette Moore went to her home with the Lord on 4-15-2020, after suffering a massive stroke in Denver, Colorado.

Tanya Yvette Moore
Born in El Paso, Texas with beautiful brown hair and hazel eyes, she looked like a little princess to her parents.

As a child in pigtails she was full of smiles, energy, and love. She negotiated getting her shoelaces tied by smiling and saying, “If you tie my shoes I’ll love you this much” (with her arms fully outstretched and a great big smile.)

She was an honor student in school with a genuine love for reading. She excelled at softball. In high school, she was chosen to be part of the elite R.L. Turner Lionettes.

Tanya was a vivacious person who loved to be silly. She had a beautiful smile and a hilarious sense of humor that could light up your life.

Tanya Yvette Moore
She loved life in the city, lake life, the Florida Keys, deserts, and majestic mountain vistas. She enjoyed camping, fishing, and sitting by the fire with friends and family laughing and telling stories. She was a delight to be with.

She genuinely loved music. She was gifted with an amazing sense of rhythm. Even as a child music literally moved her. Checking on her as she was dressing for first grade she could be found to be ‘movin’ with the groovin’ fresh from her bath – towel on the floor, before she began the actual process of dressing.

She was a poet, an author, and a storyteller.

Anyone fortunate enough to see Tanya with her Mom, sisters Dawn and Ria and other family at a celebration small or large witnessed a great deal of love, true happiness, wit, and an abundance of laughter.

Family
