OBITUARY
 
Lorraine Mabel Thorsen Moreland
Lorraine Moreland, 86, passed away peacefully at her retirement home on Thursday, March 10, 2016. Born in Chicago, she moved to Texas after marrying Charles Moreland. Lorraine worked as a Librarian in the Carrollton public schools where her children attended. Later, she was an Executive Secretary at Boy Scouts of America with 17 years of service. She enjoyed her church and friends while living in Bedford and volunteered at Meals on Wheels and Coat of Many Colors supporting Mission Central. Lorraine was loved by many. Survivors: Children, Dean Moreland and his wife Jennifer, Terry (Moreland) Autrey and her husband Larry; grandchildren, Brandon and Megan Autrey; her brother Allen Thorsen; and nephews and nieces. Preceded in death by her sister Marge Shaw.
