ALTA EILEEN MORGAN
ALTA EILEEN MORGAN, Born to John Franklin Lancaster and Beatrice Searcy Lancaster in Italy, Texas on October 23, 1905 passed away on July 21st following a brief illness. She was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, John Hamlyn Morgan, Jr. and by her oldest son John Hamlyn Morgan, III. She was a devoted wife, a patient and loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Her unwavering faith in God and her limitless love for her family characterize a precious life well lived. She is survived by her son Joseph, her daughter in-law Teddie, her grandchildren John Hamlyn Morgan, IV, Eileen Glen Morgan, Kelly Morgan Cyphers, Kathryn Lea Donelson, and nine lovely great grandchildren, John & Ethan Morgan, Nathan, Taylor, Reagan, Devyn, & Sadie Cyphers, Sydney & Luke Donelson. Alta will be missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her. Her family wishes to thank the kind staff & residents of Brighton Gardens retirement community and the outstanding physicians & nurses at Park Plaza Hospital in Houston. In lieu of flowers she would want any remembrances to go to Holy Covenant United Methodist Church in Carrollton. A graveside service is planned for 6pm Monday July 24th at Furneaux Cemetery in Carrollton.
