FUNERAL OF JOSEPH MORGAN

Interment to Be at Cemetery Hill Near Carrollton

The funeral of Joseph Morgan, who died at Denton Thursday, will take place this afternoon. The interment will be at Cemetery Hill, near Carrollton. Dallas friends of the family will take the Cotton Belt train, which leaves at 9:20 a.m., for Noel Junction, where conveyances will be in waiting to carry them to the cemetery.
The deceased was born in Devonshire, England, in 1829. He came to the United States in 1856 and settled in the Peters Colony, in Denton County. He afterward lived for a number of years in Dallas. He is survived by two sons, Hamlin Morgan, a farmer in Denton County, and Rev. J. J. Morgan, formerly pastor of the Oak Lawn Methodist Church, now president of the North Teas Training School at Terrell, and one daughter, Mrs. L. P. Smith, of Whitesboro.
