OBITUARY
MUSTAIN
BETTE JANE went to be with her heavenly Father Sunday, October 8, 2000. Beloved
wife, mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully at the Hospice at the Texas
medical Center in Houston, TX at the age of 71. She was born in Lipan,
Texas on September 9, 1929. Bette was the oldest of four children born to
Gordon William Tuggle Sr. and Mrs. Hazel Culberhouse Tuggle. She was preceded in
death by both her parents and sister, Sandra Sue Tuggle. She is survived
by her husband of 53 years, Bill Mustain of Houston, son, Daniel and
daughter-in-law Linda, 3 grandchildren, Nicole, Shelley, and Andrew Mustain of
Sugar Land, TX, 2 brothers, Gordon W. (Tug) Tuggle Jr. and his wife Nadine of
Garland, TX, and Robert L. Tuggle and wife Gail of Winnfield, LA. Four nephews,
two nieces and other relatives and friends. Bette was a member of St.
Thomas Episcopal Church Houston. She is formerly from Dallas. Her family
can not begin to express their gratitude for care given by the doctors, nurses,
and aids of The Hospice at The Texas Medical Center. In lieu of the usual
remembrances, the family requests that memorials may be made to The Hospice at
the Texas Medical Center 1905 Holcombe Blvd. Houston Tx 77030. Pallbearers will
be Gary, Kenneth, and Scott Tuggle, Jack and Keith Rodgers, and Laroy
Battenfield. Visitation:6:00 to 8:00 Wednesday evening. Funeral services will be
held Thursday morning, October 12, 2000, at 11:30 at Grove Hill Funeral Home
3920 Samuell Blvd Dallas, TX 75228.
