OBITUARY
 
Jason Myers

Jason J. Myers, 45, of McKinney, Texas, passed away on June 4, 2024. Born on April 9, 1979, in St. Louis, Missouri, he was a cherished son, husband, father, and brother.

Jason graduated from Newman Smith High School in 1997 and later earned a Bachelor of Music from the University of North Texas in 2002. His passion for music led him to a fulfilling career as a Band Director, where he inspired many young musicians with his dedication and enthusiasm.

He was a devout member of Cottonwood Creek Church in Allen, Texas, where he actively participated in various church activities and formed a strong community bond.

Jason is survived by his loving wife, Laura Hoover Myers; sons, Isaac and Alexander Myers; mother, Karen Myers; brother, Aaron Myers; sister-in-law, Aldijana Myers; nephew, Elijah Myers, nieces Ayla, and Amelia Myers; father-in-law, Dennis Hoover; and mother-in-law, Carol Hoover. Sisters-in-laws Carrie & Amy Hoover. He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald Myers; grandparents, Jerome and Jean Holliday, Betty and Norb Zimmermann, Donald Forest Myers; uncle, Donald Myers; and grandfather-in-law, John Hoover.

A celebration of Jason's life will be held on July 27, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Cottonwood Creek Church, located at 1015 Sam Rayburn Tollway, Allen, TX 75013. His legacy of love, music, and faith will continue to live on through the many lives he touched.
