Obituary Mrs.
J. S. Myers Dies In Fort Worth Hospital

FORT WORTH, Texas, July 4 - Mrs. J. S. Myers, 79, died at a hospital here
Sunday. Her home had recently been in Mineral Wells, but she formerly resided in
Dallas and at Carrollton. She was a native of Virginia, but had lived in Texas
many years and had been married for more than sixty years.
Surviving are her husband and six children, A. S. Myers of Fort Worth, Mrs. J.
M. Broadhurst of Dallas, Mrs. B. L. Barnwell of Rome, Ga; Mrs. W. O. Mathis of
Mineral Wells, Mrs. A P. Culbertson of Fort Worth and Mrs. R. P. Thaxton of
Burkburnett.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday at the Union Baptist Church at
Carrollton, of which she had been a member for more that fifty years.
