NEWS ARTICLE Carrollton F.F.A. Club At
Mesquite

Forty-five members of the Carrollton F.F.A. club went to Mesquite Friday,
May 17, to take advantage of the educational features offered.
The exhibits were splendid and competition was strong.
Edward Neal placed among the high ten individuals in cattle judging. The
Carrollton judging team placed 4th.
Lawrence Neal entered a nice Registered Guernsey Bull in the year old and under
two class, which drew a 2nd place ribbon; and David Vaugh entered a nice Jersey
heifer yearling which drew a second place ribbon.

OBITUARY WEATHERFORD — Edward L. Neal,
75, a retired baker, died Saturday, Jan. 9, 1999, in Fort Worth.
Funeral: 2 p.m. Tuesday at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home in Colleyville. Burial:
Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral
home.
Edward Neal was born on Oct. 21, 1923, in Dallas County. Mr. Neal was a baker at
Mrs. Bairds Bakery for 30 years.
Survivors: wife of 54 years Freda Neal of Weatherford; sons, Larry Neal of
Garland, Tony Neal of Fort Worth; brothers, Frank Neal of Weatherford, Jessie
Lee Neal of Montabie; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
