Geraldine Nelson
Geraldine Jo "Gerry" Nelson, 68, of Farmers Branch died Saturday July 8, 2000.
Mrs. Nelson was born Feb 4, 1932, in St. Paul, Kans., to Joseph and Roberta McMains. She was a homemaker and former co-owner of Nelson Heating and Air Conditioning in Farmers Branch from 1965 to 1995. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Farmers Branch. She is preceded in death by her husband Lloyd "Jerry" Nelson and survived by children Mike Nelson of Carrollton, Craig Nelson of Celina, Mark Nelson of Farmers Branch, Jeff Nelson of Lewisville, Becky Nelson of Carrollton, Brad Nelson of Lewisville, Rock Beachner of Carrollton, Arlene Posey of Lone Oak, and Colleen Nelson of Farmers Branch; sisters Ruth Gordon of Omaha, Neb., and Mary Sterkes of Greensboro, N.C.; brothers Bob McMains of Logan, Iowa, and Bill McMains of St. Paul, Kans.; 23 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Memorial Services were July 12, at the Kingdom hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Farmers Branch with Jared Hardie officiating.
