Rebecca Lynn Nelson of Carrollton, Texas
December 31, 1954 - November 26, 2020

Rebecca Lynn Nelson of Carrollton, TX. died at home with her family by her side on November 26, 2020 at the age of 65. She was born to the late Lloyd Doll and Geraldine Josephine (McMains) Nelson on December 31, 1954 in Parsons, Kansas. Rebecca was a 1973 graduate from R.L. Turner High School in Carrollton, TX.

Rebecca is survived by her two loving children, Christina Galvan of Carrollton, TX and Zachary Edwin Nelson of Krum, TX; and her siblings Mike Nelson, Craig Nelson, Arlene Posey, Jeff Nelson and Rock Beachner, and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

She is also survived by four beautiful grandchildren: Avery Galvan (20), Seth Galvan (18), Aden Galvan (14) and Autumn Galvan (14) who made up the entirety of her world.

Rebecca was preceded in death by both her parents Lloyd and Geraldine Nelson, her brothers Brad and Mark Nelson and her sister Colleen Nelson.

Her celebration of life service will be private and for immediate family only.

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rebecca Lynn Nelson of Carrollton, Texas, who passed away on November 26, 2020 at the age of 65. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Geraldine Josephine Nelson (McMains) and Lloyd Nelson; and her siblings, Brad, Mark Nelson and Colleen Nelson.

She is survived by : her children, Christina Galvan of Carrollton, TX and Zachary Edwin Nelson of Krum, TX; her siblings, Mike Nelson, Craig Nelson, Arlene Posey, Jeff Nelson and Rock Beachner; and her grandchildren, Avery Galvan, Seth Galvan, Aden Galvan and Autumn Galvan. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
