Catherine M. Newton

CARROLLTON - Funeral services for Catherine Maxine Newton, 71, of Carrollton, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Denton Drive Church of Christ.  G. A. Dunn Jr. will officiate. Burial will be at Hilltop Memorial Park.
Mrs. Newton died Tuesday at a Dallas hospital.
She was born Aug 20, 1903 in Indian Mound Tenn.  Mrs. Newton was a former Denton resident.
Survivors include her husband, Arthur Newton of Carrollton; two daughters, Mrs. Danny Fox of Wichita Falls and Mrs. Dwight Graham of Troup; four sisters, Myrtle Coffey, Marie Young, Katie Greener and May Hall; one brother, Hiram Gibbs and five grandchildren. Don Graham, Joe Graham, Cathy Woods, Perry Woods and Dennis Lee Fox.
Rhoton, Weiland-Merritt Funeral Home in Carrollton is in charge of arrangements.
