Survived by wife, Jennie Newton, Grand Prairie; son Jeffrey Norman Newton, Grand Prairie; daughter, Ivy Louise Newton, Grand Prairie; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Haskel M. Newton, Dallas; sisters, Mrs. Gina Menendez, Carrollton, Mrs. Penny Long, Norman, Oklahoma, grandparents, Mrs. Rachel Pickens, Booneville, Arkansas. Mrs. Dellie Eaton, Greenwood, Arkansas. Services 10 a.m. Monday, graveside, RESTLAND MEMORIAL PARK, Harry Loving officiating. Interment following.
