Jerry Wayne Nisbett

Jerry Wayne Nisbett, age 70, of Lewisville, TX and 36 year resident of Coppell, TX passed away Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at his home. He was diagnosed with a brain tumor in July 2013. He worked for Otis Engineering from 65 to 87, and 5 years with National Oil Well and founded Climate Care A/C and Heating until his retirement in 1999. Jerry was born November 26, 1943 in Dallas, Texas to Jessie Clyde and Evelyn Trout Nisbett. Survived by his wife, Virginia; son, Mike Nisbett and wife, Cheryl of Lewisville, TX; daughters, Janet Hurst and husband, Greg of Rock Hill, SC and Judy Tanner and husband, Tim of Lewisville; sisters, Winn Tate and husband, Eric, Norma Bates, Elaine Mann and husband Gary; grandchildren, Mariya Dhingra and husband Kapil; Michelle Nisbett, Hunter, Haley and Heidi Hurst and Sid and Stacy Tanner; and one greatgrandchild Sophia Dhingra He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Kenneth Nisbett and Velton Nisbett. A funeral service will be held 10:00 A.M., Saturday, November 30, 2013 at the Garden Ridge Church of Christ in Lewisville, Texas. Burial will be 4:00 P.M. in the Rock Hill Cemetery (Terrell) in Chandler, TX. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 P.M., Friday, November 29, 2013 at the funeral home.
