OBITUARY

Mrs. Minnie Nix, residence Route 1, Carrollton, passed away Friday. A resident of Dallas County for 72 years, she was born near Carrollton, Ill., coming to Dallas County in 1882 with her family.
She married Harrison Nix in 1889, and lived on a farm east of Carrollton until her death. Her husband died in 1942.
Chapel services were held at 4 p.m. Sunday, Rev. Earl Anderson officiating. Interment was in Farmers Branch Cemetery with Rhoton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include a son, David Nix, and a daughter, Mrs. Fannie Mae Davis, both of Carrollton, and two granddaughters and four great-grandsons.
Pallbearers were: Arthur and Rex Good, Albert and Will Wilkinson, W. T. Squibb, Harold Simon.
