Norton, Denise Ann (Gregor) Norton
December 7, 1957 - December 3, 2016

Denise Ann Norton of Carrollton, Texas passed away on Saturday, December 3, 2016 at the age of 58..

She was born on December 7, 1957 in Chicago, Illinois to Dorothy Ruth (Hammer) and Melvin John Gregor. Denise enjoyed being a teacher because it gave her the opportunity to teach and help children.

Denise is preceded in death by her parents; and nephew, Justin Michael Gregor. She is survived by the love of her life, Jerry Don Norton, Jr.; daughter, Holly Anne Norton; son, Zachary Alan Norton; brothers, Glen Michael, Scott Patrick, Christopher Paul, Kevin Robert and Stuart John Gregor; nephews, Brandon Scott, Wesley John and Dalton Gregor; in laws, Shirley and Jerry Don Norton, Sr.; and Snoopy.

Being a wife and mother was a great joy for Denise and she dedicated herself to her family. She taught her children right from wrong from a very young age and made sure they never forgot it. Some of Denise’s pastime fun included watching Mike & Molly, singing to the radio, listening to Christmas music and working with children by being a teacher to them. She also loved cooking and her special dishes were cranberry sauce, spaghetti and chicken soup.

Every year Denise has attended Christmas Mass at Mary Immaculate Catholic Church. The church is very special to Denise because her parents helped build Mary Immaculate Catholic Church.

The Norton family will be receiving visitors from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, with a rosary at 7:30 pm, on Tuesday, December 6, 2016 in the Brooks Family Chapel of the North Dallas Funeral Home, 2710 Valley View Lane, Farmers Branch, Texas 75234.

Mass will be at 10:00 am on Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at Mary Immaculate Catholic Church, 2800 Valwood Parkway, Farmers Branch, Texas 75234.
