J.E. "Shorty" Odle, age 83, of Lewisville, passed away Thursday, December 27, 2012, in Lewisville. He was born May 19, 1929 in Megargel, Texas to Claude E. Odle and Willie Mae Yandell Odle. J.E. married Helen Cotten who preceded him in death on February 8, 2004. He is survived by two sons, Gary E. Odle and Glen Odle; five grandchildren; three great grandchildren and brother, James Odle. He was preceded in death by a son, Greg Odle. Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 3, 2012, at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home of Lewisville. Interment will follow at Flower Mound Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
