OBITUARY
 Mrs.
Emma Sue (Jones) Odum
Emma Sue Odum passed into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus
Christ on May 31, 2010. Born February 3, 1941 in Sulphur Springs, Texas
she was devoted to her husband, family and friends and dearly loved by
all who knew her. A member of Prestonwood Baptist Church and the
Disciples Bible Study Class, she loved the Lord with all her heart. She
was preceded in death by her father, Haughton Calvin Jones and her
mother, Johnnie Avis Bone Jones. She is survived by her husband of 48
years, Melvin Lee Odum; daughter and son-in-law Rhonda and Joseph
Lawrence; granddaughter, Kristen Nicole Clark; brothers, Jerry and
Sharon Jones, Dwight and Lena Jones, David and Jo Jones, Ron and Candy
Jones and Michiael and Janice Jones along with many wonderful nieces and
nephews and cousins. She will be dearly missed. Visitation with the
family will be held Friday, June 4, 2010 from 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm at
Rhoton Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday,
June 5, 2010-in the Chapel at Rhoton Funeral Home with interment to
follow at Hilltop Cemetery
in Carrollton, TX. In lieu of flowers the family respectfully request
memorial donations in memory of Emma Sue Odum to the American Leukemia
Society. |
