She was preceded in passing by her husband, Eddie Ottinger; her parents; and her brother, W.R. 'Dub' Dalton. Helen was survived by her daughter, Carolyn Edington and husband Danny; grandchildren, Craig Edington and wife Wendy. and Christi Ramsey and husband Chris; great-grandchildren, Stacy, Michelle, Savannah, Brooke and Luke; and many more loving family and friends. Private family services were held at Grapevine Cemetery.

She is preceded in passing by her husband Eddie Ottinger, her parents, Esther and Ray Dalton and her brother, WR (Dub) Dalton.
Helen is survived by her sisters, Donna Wikins, Jean Keeten and her husband Sherwin; daughter, Carolyn Edington and her husband Danny; grandchildren, Craig Edington and his wife Wendy and Christi Ramsey and her husband Chris; great-grandchildren, Stacy, Michelle, Savannah, Brooke and Luke; and many nieces and nephews.
