Owens
August 12, 1942 - October 8, 2006
Mr. David Owens, age 64 of Plano, Texas, passed away Sunday, October 8,
2006 in Plano, Texas. He was born August 12, 1942 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to
parents Eddie and Edith (McMorris) Owens. David was a Plano East High
School Special Education Teacher and also taught in Carrollton, Texas.
Mr. Owens was a graduate of Northeastern State University of Oklahoma
and a member of the Baptist Faith. He is survived by his son, Troy Owens
and wife Roxanne of Flower Mound, Texas; daughter, Kim and husband Frank
Hart of McKinney, Texas; grandchildren, Jacob Hart, Caleb Hart, Parker
Hart; adopted daughter, Amy Hans of Tulsa, Oklahoma; former wife, Terisa
Owens of Plano, Texas; brother, Ken Owens of Muskogee, Oklahoma; and
numerous other loving relatives and frends. He is preceded in death by
his parents. A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 14, 2006
at 10:00 AM in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home Chapel with
Rev. Ryan Heller and Father Oliver Butler officiating. The family will
receive friends for a remembrance gathering on Friday from 7 - 9 PM at
Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home. |
