Bobby Gene Parker
January 14, 1938 - November 12, 2012

BOBBY GENE PARKER OF FARMERS BRANCH, TEXAS, PASSED AWAY ON MONDAY, NOVEMBER 12, 2012 AT HIS HOME. BORN JANUARY 14, 1938 TO HIS PARENTS, BAXTER C. AND LILLIAN MAE PARKER WHO HAVE PRECEDED HIM IN DEATH. HE WAS ALSO PRECEDED IN DEATH BY HIS TWO SISTERS, KATHERINE HARWELL VANCE TURNER OF POPLAR BLUFF, MO AND BETTY HOPKINS OF DALLAS, TX; A VERY DEAR FRIEND, KENNETH MJAALAND AND BY SEVERAL UNCLES, JAMES HARWELL, TWINS FLOYD AND LOYD HARWELL, ROY HARWELL, WAYNE HARWELL, CHARLES HARWELL AND RICHARD HARWELL.

BOBBY IS SURVIVED BY HIS NEPHEW, WILLIAM F. TURNER, JR. (JANET) OF POPLAR BLUFF, MO; NIECES, SUZANNE TURNER RIEHL (VAN) OF JACKSON, MO, KIMBERLY ANNE WEST OF ANCHORAGE, AK AND MARY KAY ROADES (JACK) OF JOPLIN, MO; COUSINS, CHARLA HARP, VICKIE SCHERER, VANESSA COFFELT, LANNY HARWELL AND JIM HARWELL. BOBBY IS ALSO SURVIVED BY SEVERAL GREAT NIECES AND NEPHEWS AS WELL AS MANY CLOSE FRIENDS.

OUR UNCLE BOBBY HAD A FANTASTIC SENSE OF HUMOR, PERSONALITY AND CONTAGIOUS LAUGH. HE LOVED MUSIC OF ALL KINDS FROM CLASSICAL TO PINK FLOYD. HIS TRUE LOVE THOUGH WAS THE DALLAS OPERA. HE HAD SEASON TICKETS AND NEVER MISSED A PERFORMANCE.

THERE WILL BE A GRAVESIDE SERVICE FOR FAMILY AND FRIENDS AT 10:30 AM ON SATURDAY, DECEMBER 8, 2012 AT KEENAN (FARMERS BRANCH) CEMETARY.
