OBITUARY
Mark Dewayne Parker, 60, of Oran passed away Monday, May 7, 2018 at his home
surrounded by his family.
He was born to Jimmy (Zelda) Parker and Barbara (Thomas) Cooper on June 27,
1957. He married Robin Scheible on June 23, 1990 and she survives of the home.
Mark has been an engineer for the tow boat for 30 + years. Then he worked for
Cott’s Beverages at Sikeston as an engineer. Mark loved fishing, camping and
going to the car races. He also helped take care of a lot of his nephews and
nieces that were like his own and he was proud to be a grandpa. He served in the
United States Army.
He is survived by his loving wife Robin; two son’s Preston Parker of Oran;
Christopher Parker of Fort Worth, Texas; three brothers, Michael (Lisa) Parker
of Seymore, Tennessee; Matt (Linda) Parker of Renton, Washington; Dale
(Jennifer) Parker of Jackson three sisters, Debbie (Rudy) Mancias of Nampa,
Idaho; Cindy (Wally) Galbraith of Camas, Washington; Ann (Brian) Glenn of
Nashville, Tennessee; three nephews, David K. Scheible of Carbondale, Illinois;
Jonathan Shipley of Oran; Patrick Markham of Blodgett; five nieces, Melinda
Statton of Oran; Melissa Ezell of Sikeston; Holly Milam and Stephanie Markham
both of Advance; Bailey Shipley of Oran; four grandchildren, Hayden Duty of
Oran; Zack Stratton of Jonesboro, Arkansas; Samantha and Abbie Parker of Fort
Worth, Texas; step-mother, Zelda Parker of Jackson.
He was also preceded in death by his father Jimmy Dale both paternal and
maternal grandparents and a granddaughter.
Friends may call after 4:00 pm on Tuesday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in
Oran.
Funeral Service will be at 12:00 pm on Wednesday at the Chapel with Rev. Donny
Ford officiating. Burial will be at Gravel Hill Cemetery in Bell City, Missouri
with full military honors.
