OBITUARY
 In
Memory of
William "Ikey" Parkey Jr.
June 24, 1940 - January 23, 2018
Parkey Jr., William Ike passed into Heaven on January 23, 2018 at the
age of 77.
"Ikey", as known by his family, friends and classmates, moved to
Carrollton at the age of 10. He attended Carrollton Grade School and
then on to Carrollton High School graduating in the class of 1958. After
graduation, he worked for his father, Bill, at Parkey's Skelly Service
Station located on the corner of Valwood and Old Denton in Carrollton.
He began the career he loved working at Texas Instruments in 1960,
retiring after 40 years, in 2001. He was a member of the First Methodist
Church of Carrollton.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Nell Parkey, he is
survived by his wife of 57 years, Martha Parkey, one daughter, Rhonda
Parkey Odom and husband Bob Odom, granddaughter Kelsey Odom, and
brothers, Jim and Danny Parkey. |
