PATTERSON
O. M. (Bob), 1409 Rosemon, Carrollton. Survived by wife, Mrs. Lillie Patterson;
daughter, Miss Ollivene Patterson, Carrollton; sisters, Miss Lennie Patterson,
Carrollton; Mrs. Mollie Sullens, Mrs. Birdie Thomas, Fort Worth. Services
Wednesday, 4 p.m., First Baptist Church, Carrollton, Dr. Fred A. White and Rev.
Robert Ridley officiating. Interment,
Hilltop Cemetery, Carrollton.
Pallbearers: Jack and Ray Ogle, J. E. Johnston, M. C. Kirkham, Billy Parks,
Kenneth Sonntag, Walter Blanton, G. L. and Bill Thompson, John Austin Lowrey,
Woody Thomas. Honorary pallbearers: Member of the Carrollton Fire
Department, Carrollton School Board, Magnolia plant employees.

OBITUARY
SERVICES SET FOR OIL AGENT
CARROLLTON, Texas - Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Wednesday in the
First Baptist Church of Carrollton for Oscar Mark Patterson, 76, The Rev. Robert
Ridley and Dr. Fred A. White will officiate. Burial will be in
Hilltop Cemetery here.
Mr. Patterson died Sunday.
A native of Plano, he farmed there and at Frisco. He helped open the first Ford
Motor Company agency in Dallas County here.
An agent for Magnolia Oil Company for 42 years before his retirement, he was a
member of the school board for 25 years, a member of the high school athletic
council, a charter member of the Carrollton Lions Club, and a member of James A.
Smith Masonic Lodge of Farmers Branch and Hella Shrine Temple. He helped
organize the Carrollton Fire Department.
Pallbearers will be Jack Ogle, Ray Ogle, J. E. Johnston, M. C. Kirkham, Billy
Parks, Kenneth Sonntag, Walter Blanton, G. L. Thompson, Bill Thompson,
John
Austin Lowrey and Woody Thomas. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the
Carrollton fire department, the school board, and Magnolia plant employees.
