OBITUARY
Pearson,
Billy Carl
Kemp, Texas
August 24, 1934 to March 7, 2010 [May 7, see notes]
Billy Carl, 75, resident of Kemp, Texas passed away at home on Monday,
March 7, 2010 after a long and courageous fight of 5 1/2 years with
stroke complications.
Survived by his loving wife, Juanelle; 4 children Phil, Karla, Alisa,
and Robert; 12 grandchildren and 1 great grand daughter. His parents,
Carl & Recie, and his only sister,
Rita Cox preceded his death.
He was born and raised in Carrollton, Texas. He attended Carrollton High
School and North Texas State. Billy Carl married Janelle out of high
school and they subsequently lived in Germany while he served in the
Army. He loved their time in German and talked about it often. Upon
returning to the states, he joined General Motors, eventually retiring
from General Motors to follow his entrepreneurial interests. He
treasured the friendships that lasted over the years from GM. Billy Carl
lived in Dallas much of his life until he pursued his dream of moving
fulltime to their farm in Kaufman county.
He was never as happy as being surrounded by friends and family in the
green pastures with baby calves and horses all around him. His strength,
determination and drive were only second to the unwavering love &
devotion to his family. He will be missed, but we all celebrate that he
is at peace and without pain or worry. Services will be Wednesday, May
12 at 1:30 pm at the Hillcrest Baptist Church in Kemp, Texas. (909 North
Elm St). Our hearts are filled with warmth, our memories are filled with
happiness and our thoughts are filled with laughter and love. Thank you
for all you have given us. We are blessed ! |

Note:
He died on May 7 not March 7. I
talked to someone that went to
the memorial service & they
said the paper made a mistake
on when he died.
