Henry D. Perry Is Honored on Birthday
Mr. and Mrs. Henry Perry, entertained a small group of
friends of theirs and their son, Henry D. Perry, Sunday night with a party in
honor of their son's birthday.
Those present besides the parents and honoree were Charles Chastain, W. M.
Wilson and James Silk.

WEDDING ANNOUNCEMENT
Henry Perry, Miss Jackson Wed at Home
Miss
Leslie Muriel Jackson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul B. Jackson, became the
bride of Henry D. Perry, son of Henry W. Perry of Carrollton, Tuesday evening in
the garden of her parents' home 1224 Claude. The ceremony was read by the Rev.
Henry Kinkade of Carrollton.
Mr. Jackson gave his daughter in marriage. She wore a satin dress of pale green.
It was ballerina length and with it she wore elbow length gloves of the same
shade. Her headdress was a matching satin with pearls on pale-green net and her
other accessories were black. She carried a bouquet of orchids backed by white
plumes and showered with satin streamers tied with French Mums.
Mrs. Amos Shafer was matron of honor and maid of honor was Miss Jo James. Mrs.
Vernon Pelon and Mrs. Jon J. Casale were bridesmaids. Mr. Perry was attended by
Charles Chastain as best man and Mr. Casale, Mr. Shafer and W. M. Wilson as
groomsmen. Mrs. Viola Miller, accordionist, accompanied the soloist, Mrs. Mary
Caldwell.
A reception was held after the ceremony. Mrs. L. R. Scott presided at the cake
and Mrs. L. W. Jackson poured punch.
Mrs. Perry attended W. H. Adamson High School and Mr. Perry is a graduate of
Carrollton High School.
The couple left for a wedding trip to Carland N, M. and Mexico. The bride's
going-away costume was a continental-green gabardine suit with back accessories
and a white orchid corsage.
The bride and bridegroom will make their home in Carrollton. The Dallas

OBITUARY PERRY
HENRY "DEE", 77, passed away Monday, March 1, 2004 at his home in Carrollton,
TX. Funeral: 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 5, 2004 at Rhoton Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial in the Perry Cemetery in Carrollton. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at
the funeral home. Memorial: In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to
Vitas Hospice. Dee was a lifelong resident of Carrollton, only leaving
long enough to serve in the U.S. Army. He too pride in the progress of
Carrollton and served on the City Council for several terms. He owned and
operated several small business including Perry Sand and Gravel and Dee's Trees.
Survivors: Wife of 26 years, Merrill Perry, daughters, Shana Russell and husband
Gary of Pottsboro, TX and Dana Perry Hyatt and husband David also of Pottsboro,
TX; son, Dan Perry and wife Cathy of Collinsville, TX; numerous brothers
and sisters, 3 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and
