OBITUARY   Mary Laura Pierce SEPTEMBER 9, 1933 – JUNE 12, 2017 Obituary of Mary Laura Pierce Mary Laura Pierce passed away on June 12, 2017 in Carrollton, Texas. Mary Laura was born in Natchez, Mississippi on September 9, 1933. She was married to Bobby Joe Pierce and Carlton Levon Guidry, both deceased. Mary Laura was predeceased by her parents, Lonnie M. and Ruby Thelma Hall. She is survived by her daughter, Marianne Alford and husband Don, of Carrollton, Texas; Grandchildren, Sean Alford and wife Ashlea, of Coppell, Texas, and Kristin Rainey and husband Gordon of Carrollton, Texas; and Great-Grandchildren, who were the light of her life, Madison and Mackenzie (daughters of Sean and Ashlea) and Ryan (son of Kristin and Gordon). The family will accept visitors on Wednesday, June 14 at 9:30 a.m at Metrocrest Funeral Home, and the Graveside Service will be on June 14 at noon at Hilltop Memorial Park in Carrollton. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Buckner Children’s Home or the charity of your choice. Arrangements under the direction of Metrocrest Funeral Home, Carrollton, TX.
