OBITUARY

In Memory of
DELAUNA GAYLE PLUMMER
1966 - 2024

Delauna Gayle Plummer of Farmers Branch, Texas passed on to her Heavenly home to be with her Lord and all the saints who have gone before her on April 3, 2024, after a lengthy battle with many debilitating and challenging diseases. She fought a long fight until the struggles were too much for her body to take. She never lost hope although it was extremely hard.

A Memorial Service celebrating her life will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2024 at 2 p.m., at Christ United Methodist Church, 2807 Valwood Parkway, Farmers Branch, Tx 75234.

Delauna was born on January 17, 1966, to Mel and Sandy Plummer in Farmers Branch TX who had long awaited the gift of another child. She was a joy. Delauna excelled in everything she did growing up. She always gave her all to everything she tried. She enjoyed softball, singing, playing piano, drill team at R.L. Turner, and music of every kind. She was in the Who’s Who all through High School. After Graduating High School, she attended North Texas State University. In her third year she started working for Fidelity Investments and put her college on hold. In 2008 she went back to college and finished her Bachelor of Arts degree. Knowing she wanted to work in public service, she took a job with a non-profit organization, The Federation of State Medical Boards, as an auditor. As her health continued to worsen, they allowed her to work from home. She was also a member of Mensa.
