OBITUARY

Joanne Pollard
November 27, 1944 - August 6, 2024

Our precious Joanne was called home by our Heavenly Father early Tuesday morning. She joins her Mother, Father, all her sisters, brothers and her beloved nephew Paul, and many friends, all of whom rejoice at her homecoming. A more generous spirit and kind soul there never was. She volunteered her time and resources to many organizations including the church's food distribution service and the SPCA. She loved her family beyond measure and the love was returned to her by all who were blessed to know her. Always wearing a gentle smile, she was quick to join in. She was active in her friends groups, particularly the Geezers. She loved games, reading, animals, children, and music (especially Elvis!) She was bright, quick-witted, and animated, sharing stories and memories. She loved to laugh, even at her own expense. She was sensitive, (known to cry at the drop of a hat,) giving, empathetic, compassionate, patriotic, and spiritual. She loved Jesus and left us in the peace of knowing she would be soon be in His presence.

The memory of Joanne Pollard (Farmers Branch, Texas), who passed away on August 6, 2024 at the age of 79, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joanne Pollard to pay them a last tribute.

As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let her loved ones carry forward the torch of her memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of her love and the brilliance of her spirit. Though Joanne may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being - a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.

She was loved and cherished by many people including her Mother, Father, all her sisters, brothers.
